"You can find Outbursts via the new yellow tab at the top of every page and a "Latest Outbursts" feed on the side rail of each page." I see the yellow tab and the latest outbursts on inside pages but no latest outbursts box on homepage. Is it time for a visit to my optometrist or is my mac being unfaithful to me?

I realize that Oncor has been terribly busy and judging by all the tweets I have received since the storms passed through, that its communications folks have been working in overdrive. I did feel I needed to pass along a recent tweet that just got us all laughing here. "oncor: Customers without power through the night are encouraged to turn on porch lights to assist crews in identifying problems."

and even though my power is still out due to the storm I bet I still have to pay my 2 bucks this month ... not to mention the double-billing last month (grumble, grumble)

Sssshhhhh...yeah, it's little 'd'...
Chris-yes, we love the activities and I even proposed to my girlfriend last year in the parade, stopped the whole darned thing right in front of city hall (she said "yes"). Wrote a column about it called "A Parade to Remember" on my autoworldtoday.net website, last one on the archive list.

my little town here still shows the holiday festivities on but city employees are taking furlough days without pay and losing city-paid dental coverage to make up for huge budget shortfall. Happy Fourth!

I love it. I have always had blackberry envy and now I can look like I am just as important as everyone else who is constantly reading their phones. Reminds me of when I got my first pager and everyone in the movie theaters thought i was a doctor....

So you all are saying I have to hang an ugly flag in my front yard just to demonstrate my lack of enthusiasm with the incoming administration? Whew, thank goodness Hootie just came on Grand Ole Opry. Talk about change...
