You can catch A Hard Nights Day thursday 5/1 night @ the Arboretuem. Then Friday 5/2 @ Club Dada @ 6:30...3 sets/5 bucks !

On Rain: The Beatles Experience makes its Dallas debut this week

You are soooo right about The Demigs. Hey, I just wrote them in in nearly every category.

On Dallas Observer Winners announced

On CD Review: The Demigs' Yardling

check em' out @ Club Dada friday 6/22 !

On Lifters

Hey atlasslipped...were you at the Mcfarland show with XTC? Me too...front row! I doubt if this current pocket-lining tour will measure up.

On So who was able to get Police tickets?

Average....huh?? El Fenix is a Dallas tradition and wrote the book on TexMex! Newbies and darlings like Mi Cocina and Canita Laredo owe a HUGE debt to El Fenix....it's tha' real deal!

On El Fenix Mexican Restaurant (Dallas / Buckner & Garland Rd)

Maybe there is " so little Money" because $28,800 is being paid out in "consulting fees"....HA! Nice work if you can get it! Just another example of taxpayers dollars going to line Fat Cat pockets.

On UPDATED: Dirty laundry being aired in Deep Ellum

Henry The VIII with an orchestra...WOW!!! Will there be a laser light show too ??!!

On Herman's Hermits with the Garland Symphony Orchestra

Sad to see Clearview go, I was in regular attendance @ the start-up warehouse parties on Elm St. Deep Ellum is far from dead though...Miss Gubbins failed to mention the Doublewide, The Darkside and Club Dada, the re-openings of Trees and Deep Ellum Live, and the much anticipated upstart, Deep Ellum Onstage(1/20/07).

Deep Ellum is Dallas' only example of a centralized music scene...nowhere else comes even close. DE will come back eventually, it just won't be the DE of 1990.

On Club Clearview goes kaput

The Officialy sanction Black Keys after party will be @ Club Dada w/ The Buffalo Killers http://www.myspace.com/buffalokillers

Cover is only $5, but you get $2 off w/ your Black Keys tickets. The Black Keys WILL be @ the show if ya' want to meet them!

On The Black Keys / Dr. Dog - SOLD OUT
