Let's clarify my previous post so that some folks won't go ballistic and think I'm just a 'Texas-hater'--I'm not! Check out Michael Davis's DallasProgress blogspot posting entitled "Is Texas the Worst Place to live in the U.S.?" Some very thought-provoking and disturbing statistics there, category by category, to consider. If we truly love our state and care about its future and that of its children, I believe we must re-arrange our priorities.
