Dallas City Planning Commission recommends two-year SUP for Trees reopening
Huge news! That place has some memories for me and I'm glad to see that it's on it's way back.

Denton community gives perspectives on "vanishing" Fry Street
I'm glad I was there to experience it in the 90's. Eddie Izzard is right when he said Americans tear down their history. Now what am I supposed to take the camera crew back to after I'm all rich and famous and someone wants to film the story of my life?

Duncanville releases red light camera videos contradicting couple's claims
The red light camera story was just interesting until the part about how credible the MR. is because he is a minister. And she said that with a straight face.

I'm more interested in how that guy in the link for this article broke his leg. Ouch.

Three students at Adamson High School in Dallas die in car crash
90 degree turns are safe as long as your entry speed is reasonable. Seems like a problem between the steering wheel and the gas pedal to me.

Fort Worth Grandma chases down, catches purse snatcher
I would have done the same thing if I were her. Then I saw the look on his face in the mug shot and wondered how desperate he had to feel. I don't have any sympathy for him, but they should interview him too. Makes me wonder what kind of life gets somebody to the point where they think robbing someone is worth it. Now if I could only get the Dallas detective in charge of my case to call me back. I'm going to need a freakin miracle like this lady got.

Dallas police officers face suspension for breaking rules of pursuit
Whoa. Why would someone turn off the dashboard camera? Curiouser and curiouser.

UPDATED: Four children burned with sulfuric acid admitted to Parkland Memorial Hospital
Too bad meth doesn't make a person sterile. And if the parents organs weren't f-ed up by the drugs, I'd say to harvest their organs as their death penalty and use that cash to pay for the kids psychiatrist for life; they are probably going to need it.

Dallas and Carrollton joining the folly of impounding cars for no insurance
I'm for impounding the cars but not the driver responsibility fee added on top. It's a little strange I'm showing any compassion on this matter being that I just crashed on Tuesday while riding my motorcycle by an unlicensed and uninsured driver who left the scene. Witness got his plate, but that doesn't mean he'll pay for his mistakes. I want responsibility but the fee is overkill in my opinion.

New Texas House bill seeks to ban eating while driving
Some of the provisions I really like and will do all of us some good. I am scared of how far reaching into my pocket this could go though. Guess I won't be needing my "Hang up and drive. The gas is on the right." sign anymore.

Pedestrian hit, killed by SUV in Fort Worth
Stories like this always seem incomplete to me. I'm always left wondering what the guy was doing in the road, was he even in the road, did the SUV driver hit the guy walking on the shoulder? What's the point in telling me a guy was hit by a car? No offense meant to the poster JM, but towards Dallas news journalists.
