Smoke is awesome! "The Rib" is a giant Beef rib that will remind you of what the Flintstones may eat. Super tender and very rich flavor. Cool vibe in this neighborhood with Belmont Hotel and other landmarks.

Food was outstanding, service marginal. Dining here used to be a real treat where the food and service was outstanding and worth the money. Its been a few years since I have visited this restaurant and it was a disappointing experience.

Their Thursday night events are worthwhile to attend with food, drink and discounted cigars.

Had a great meal here last week. I had no idea the place existed, but our neighbor suggested it. Surprisingly good vibe for being in a narrow strip center space. The escargot were awesome and nearly a meal in itself. BYOB helps offset the menu prices.

We made a quick decision to try this place last night before catching a movie at Valley View. Really impressed with it! Wait staff was outstanding, however the sushi chef forgot one of our rolls and doubled up on another. 20 minutes later we still didn't have the one we ordered and needed to leave. The manager apologized, deducted charges, etc, so not a big deal. Great 1/2 price bottles of wine the night we were there. Really nice presentation of the sushi. We will go back soon.

Amici is a unique find in old downtown Carrolton. This is a small, quaint restaurant located on the second floor of an older building near the town square. In addition to the usual Italian food they are best known for their game and exotic dishes such as antelope, axis deer and wild boar. We have never had a bad meal here and the service is exceptional. And it's BYOB!

After not eating here for years my wife and I had lunch at the Mansion to celebrate her birthday. It was pretty disappointing. We were one of only 2 tables occupied and it "felt" a shell of what it used to be. Could have been slow because it was lunch on a Monday or perhaps it is from a tough economy, but the menu itself was far from what I remember it to be. Fewer choices and missing what I considered to be Mansion staples from the past Dean Fearing menus... but a let down and seemed far from its 5 star past.

Great neighborhood restaurant with good food at a good price.

As a shellfish fanatic this place sounded good to me when friends suggested we meet there for dinner. We enjoyed outstanding service from Tom the waiter and the meal was excellent from start to finish. Seafood Paella had shrimp, lobster, mussels and clams for a very reasonable price. One of my new favorites!

This is my favorite steak restaurant in Dallas. Great steaks and the best ambiance in town. The wine cellar is a wonderful venue for a private party and the lounge is a good place to have a cigar after your meal. Expensive - but the best usually is.
