I am the mother of Richard Haskins.

An Open Letter to Whom It May Concern:

As part of an intervention for one of my children and without malicious intent, without malice, and without negligence to harm, defame, slander, or libel anyone's character, reputation, or financial standing, I have publicly stated factual information and also I have publicly stated my opinions both of which are my Rights and also yours under the First Amendment in our Constitution. I have committed to following the plans outlined in the intervention for the safety and well-being of one of my children and whose intervention plan I also made without malicious intent, without malice, and without negligence to ridicule, harm, defame, slander, or libel anyone's character, reputation, or financial standing.

If you are a complete stranger, acquaintance, friend, or extended family member who has continued to repeatedly contact me regarding silencing me, while I empathize with you and with your position:

1. I will not stop any legal means for advocating for the safety and well-being of any of my children and

2. I will not give away my Right to Freedom of Speech protected in the First Amendment in our Constitution.

3. I'm truly praying for my precious children, for you, and for all family members whether they be yours or mine.

4. I'm also praying for peace that comes with understanding, whether we happen to agree or disagree.

5. I respectfully ask that you cease and desist your unwanted and repeated communications regarding silencing me concerning my intervention plan in place for the safety and well-being of my child. In the event it continues, I will need to report all communications saved to authorities.

Jacquelyn Brooke Stevenson and Richard H. Haskins arranged for my son, Richard Steven Haskins, to leave a confined, safe place, which is free from drugs and alcohol and which has 24/7 access to medical, psychological, and psychiatric treatment options, both voluntary and involuntary. It's a shame whenever anyone in this world is literally loved to death and is helped to an early grave, even when it is someone who claims to love them and a parent. Most families have a policy where any funerals conducted in a family will be attended by only those who did not help another into the grave, with invites extended accordingly.

As the mother of an adult child who was confined to a safe place, with that place being free from drugs and alcohol and with that place being an environment where those confined also had 24/7 access to medical, psychological, and psychiatric treatment options, both voluntary and involuntary, a big "Way to Go!" goes to Jacquelyn Brooke Stevenson and Richard H. Haskins! It's a shame anyone in this world is literally loved to death. Most families have a policy where any funerals conducted in a family will be attended by only those who did not help another into the grave, with invites extended accordingly.
