Uh, Pegasis is not the same spelling as Pegasus. In fact, the spell checker doesn't even recognize Pegasis. Hmmm. But, I can't tell the difference. :(

Happened overnight, it seems. I sell the Star-telegram at a bookstore, and one day I was selling for 50 cents and the next day one dollar. I had heard that it was coming, but I didn't know when.

If you get a chance, go out to see the Avengers play and help one of these three great organizations out. The Avengers are very friendly folks, both the players and their families.

I am looking for that "simple model" also. I have wondered if advertising is enough to sustain a decent online media source. I think when executives look at subscription fees, their eyes get big at the possible money. But online content has a prevailing philosophy that makes subscriptions almost impossible: free.

The map is all wrong on this page. I don't know why, but the map has Borders on South Freeway rather than West Freeway. We are located at 4601 West Freeway which is I-30. We are two exits past University Drive.

SMU alumnus Jerry LeVias features in HBO show Breaking the Huddle: The Integration of College Football
I watched the documentary, and it was very good. A very inspiring look at the African-American athletes who struggled to make integration possible. The documentary was more of a overview, more broad than specific. I recommend Thomas Gossom's book "Walk-On" to learn a little more. Gossom was also featured in the documentary and played at Auburn in the early 1970's. He goes in to much greater detail about the struggles.

Gee. They decide their national champion by using a playoff. What a great idea! Good job to the Frisco community for hosting the soccer cup. I hope they have good crowds and that the games are great.
