Unlike other cities such as Austin, iMedia doesnt get funding from your cable bill or enjoy a decent stipen from the city/county. I implore people to make your voice heard in this issue, as this is a vital link to local voices who are usually drowned out by the mass media machine.

Another option would be for the city to hand over the reins of the zoo to a public/private trust, who can properly fund it and make it a world-class facility.

The Beach Boys with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra Beach Boy trivia: Though surfing was a prominent theme in many of the Beach Boys' early songs, Dennis Wilson was the only original member who surfed. "Kokomo" was the Beach Boys' first hit in 20 years and ended up being their biggest selling single. Paul McCartney once said that "God Only Knows" was the most beautiful pop song ever written. Problem is Dallas still runs a commissioners court, if we'd get with the times and elimate this whole ship of fools who dont have term limits, then bringing the control of these type of issues under a strong mayor system, we'd have less ALOT less issues.
