I have to admit that until this past week I really thought that Exposition Park was just an extension of the often rude and/or overly pretentious/obnoxious attitude of Deep Ellum in general--but after watching (of all things) a repeat of a Dallas City Council meeting where many of the denizens of Expo Park came down to speak on behalf of some of the bar owners, I realized that this was something special. Very special. So with that, I can't wait to try the brunch here, it sounds special too.

It does sound hipper than the proverbial "street team." The again, what doesn't.

It's just a little bit odd that the oh so gentrified 'burbs of Highland and University Parks don't have smoking bans in their restaurants. What they do have (because of it) is a large number of customers who like to have a smoke after dinner.
