This review is actually for the location on Ira Woods Ave/Hwy 26, which needs to be added to the Pegasus site. Went to this restaurant last Friday with a group of six, and we all had a wonderful and very reasonably priced meal. Standout dishes included the escargot and caprese appetizers, and among the entrees, the lobster ravioli and tortellini michael angelo (both with pink sauces), eggplant parmesan and veal marsala all received rave reviews from our group. The amply portioned entrees came in around $10-$15 apiece, and wine was BYOB... making this restaurant truly an outstanding value. The tiramisu was also heavenly. My only quibble was with the bread, which was rather pedestrian compared with the other hearty, well-executed Sicilian fare. The restaurant was packed, so the atmosphere was lively but not oppressively loud. Despite the crowds, we were promptly seated (we had a reservation) and never lacked for attention from our charming waiter. I understand the owners are relocating to a larger space next door, so they should be able to accommodate more customers very soon.

Tried the BBQ triumvirate - sliced brisket, pork ribs and sausage - and was very pleased with the quality and flavor of each meat. The three-meat platter came with a generous helping of brisket and sausage (the latter from Muenster) - though I could have used more than two of the meat-falling-off-the-bone ribs. Dessert choices included three types of cobbler, so a friend and I sampled two - pecan and peach. Of the two, the peach was more conventional in style, with the pecan cobbler resembling a pecan log with a little syrup (though my friend enjoyed it nevertheless). Next time, I'll be trying the blackberry, to see if it equals the peach for homemade goodness. The restaurant was filled with families enjoying themselves, and several getting large pans to go - I chose to transport my large to-go portion in my satisfied belly.

service was a little slow and inattentive, but the food was solid... Including the sole saltimbocca and New York steak, plus the outstanding blue cheese and hazelnut salad. Tonight's dessert was a peach cobbler ... Very nice, although a little less crusty than I prefer.

Tasty burgers and shakes, although the skinny fries were cold and soggy. Napkins were scarce and the lettuce was a little wilted and brown.

Our favorite sushi place in Dallas. Sashimi is generously cut and wonderful in quality, and the specials are typically inventive and worth branching out from the menu. Definitely intimate, so be prepared to wait... But it's worth it. The Kobe beef tataki is a solid starter, and the skewered baby octopus is also very tasty. Hamachi kama is divine and worth the effort to get at the meat.

highly recommend the chicken salad with homemade basil vinaigrette... Or the shrimp and mozzarella quesadillas. This is one of the office's favorite lunch spots. Their Sunday brunch is also outstanding.

Sorry, forgot to submit ratings with my comment. Saliva must have backed up to my brain when I started thinking about fried chicken....

On a par with the other Mi Cocinas (Highland Park Village, Las Colinas) we've been to. Tasty margaritas, a great salad (the Rico salad), and the usual assortment of Tex-Mex favorites. Always seems to be busy, but the service doesn't suffer.

Outstanding appetizers (crabcakes, shrimp) and steaks put this restaurant near the top of my "favorite steakhouse" list for DFW. That being said, there's not much to differentiate it from the other favorites - Bob's, Nick & Sam's, Pappas Bros. But that's hardly a strike against it.

A quick update. I tried the blackberry cobbler recently, and found it the superior of the three cobblers sampled so far at the Feedstore (the other two I've tried were peach and pecan). The blackberry cobbler was, in a word, perfect. I'll definitely be going back for more!
