Restaurant review: Lalo's Fine Mexican Cuisine lives up to its name

jhayden, Thanks for reading and for your comment. My comment "decadent" describing the queso referred to the fact that it was very rich--both in taste and calories. One bite was enough for me. My one bite was delicious, but my stomach and waistline couldn't handle an entire bowl.

Restaurant review: Mexi-Go in Allen may not look like much, but the guac is good

jhayden--looks like you are right. to riff off of kermit the frog--it's not easy being green. my take is that it's not easy being a vegetarian in texas. worse--it's not easy being a vegetarian and trying to review mexican food. (unless i only ate guac, rice & beans and then my blog would be super boring). thanks for reading!

Restaurant review: Rusty Taco gives consumers most bang for their buck

Thanks for the comment John. Hope your tortillas didn't fall apart in your lap while you were driving. That sounds like a potential driving hazard.

Mexican food review: Joe T. Garcia's in Fort Worth

Redwood--If you are interested in sitting outdoors, Glorias in the Bishop Arts District has a nice patio with lovely ambiance. Although their food is "technically" Salvadorian, there is enough variety to satisfy any palette. I highly recommend the cerviche. If you aren't a fish lover, the spinach enchiladas were good. Great salsas and guac.
