There has to be a balance between the citys requirement to appear transparent to its citizens, which inlcudes providing information where the people are like the TV, and people making the effort to be inolved in our daily government acitivities. With todays youth and adults being more involved with the internet iMedia should be at the front lines providing information to us the citizens even if they are being paid by the citizens coffers. To continue to destroy any realistic budget for the public information arm that is iMedia is the city rolling up the welcome mat and hoping no one knocks on the door to see whats happening on the inside.

I have to agree it could be worded better to suggest they are part of the way through private donations. They have everything they need to build the park but just need a little more to build some amenities later when the major construction is finished.

This and his other projects look great while they might not have the spa packages to go along with a place to live like some of the other developments in Dallas this would be something I could afford to live in and still have the advantage of the urban location with the pedestrian experience.

Well I have not read all the comments on this story and did watch some of the commentary online by outside sources including bloggers "enraged" as they can get, me being a blogger as well. I am ready for the lawyers to hash this out because while I agree that Miss Aguilar needs to be reinstated I just see too many people stuck in the mud on their opinion. The only thing thats going to save this situation is who has the best lawyer and I am rooting for Miss Aguilar's side in this case and hope she gets compensation.

Cowboys could careless about being in Dallas. Dallas has better things to do and without a clear definition of the Cotten Bowls purpose it will never do well. I am with Laura on this too let Arlington pay for the stadium that won't stay world class for long anyways. In a year another stadium will be announced even bigger with better features the Cowboys will return to Dallas when its right. I don't think Dallas is ready yet for a Cowboys return home. Dallas is still in need of shine to many areas of town and some of those areas are well on their way but some are dead and not being taking cared of. Until Deep Ellum is back on track as well as the neighborhood around Fair Park Dallas will not be ready for their return. Jerry Jones wants the world for the Cowboys and City of Dallas can fund a new South Dallas for him to build around his "world class stadium"!

I love this show and can't wait to see it also. Their next movie should take place here in Dallas.
