I was raised in Texas and I saw many similarities to the holier than thou women who went to my little church in Montague County. They would act like they were the purist of pure when in fact they were a bunch of alcoholics, gamblers, adulterers and often pure pigs at home. Many acted like their home life was all wine and roses when really their spouses were a bunch of cheaters, embezzlers and even in jail. Some pretended to be rich when in fact they only had material things because they were hocked up to their eyeballs in credit card debt. GCB is a delightful parody to real life. Me and my lady friends loved giggling about the absurd antics each Monday morning. We certainly hope ABC or some other network brings it back. As for the cast? Annie Potts, Bruce Boxleitner, David James Elliot and Kristen Chenowith I would hardly consider "inexperienced"! And finally...OMG... Eric Winters is wonderful to look at!
