What the hell is wrong with Dallas? Just continues to piss away it's history...for a road?

Heisman trophy winner Johnny Manziel spotted at Uptown Dallas club

Waving thousands in cash at the casino, drinking Dom, and eating at Al's...so where does he work again? He will be in trouble before too long.

Restaurant review: In a world of bad Tex-Mex, Bandito's stands out above the rest

Her tag..."never trust a restaurant that doesn't have a website" . Pegasus News...why are you allowing this $#!+ to continue? That's not a reason to judge a restaurant! She's ruining restaurants with ignorance! If I were an owner, lawsuits would be rolling.

Restaurant review: Cocktail den Pepper Smash brings the heat, but it's still warming up

    Here's the truth:

You reviewed Pepper Smash - A Cocktail Kitchen One week ago

I've been here a handful of times since it's opening. While a very cool concept it seems not all together. I've never been blown away by the food and it definitely lacks focus. Is it Mediterranean, Greek, or New Southern/Texas cuisine? The best I've had off the menu was the Grilled Hanger steak. All other items...meh. Texas Lollipops...are chicken wings. I've never been blown away by the food and it definitely lacks focus. Is it Mediterranean, Greek, or New Southern/Texas cuisine? The best I've had off the menu was the Grilled Hanger steak. All other items...meh. Texas Lollipops...are chicken wings. I admire the creative notion of the menu and somewhat see the vision Chef Vijay has but it misses the point. The menu itself...a comic? Why? There is no comic theme within the restaurant. It's more comical than fun.

I've generally had good service here albeit my last visit had a hiccup. We got to the restaurant and had to wait for seats...no biggie. Well...while we were waiting and next up for a table we were told that a couple who had missed their reservation would be getting seated at our table. What the what? A couple who had MISSED their reservation...no fault of mine...would be getting seated over us who had been standing near an hour. You've got to be kidding. Luckily a couple left the bar and we sat at the bar. The Manager bought us our first round so that was a nice gesture. I think one thing I'm finally fed up with is the price for the amount of food served. Mind you, mediocre food.

I don't mind paying a lot for good food and I understand high end restaurants are more show than portion amount. Well if you're going to charge for small amounts of food...it best be memorable. I've been here enough to taste different apps and dishes each time. Same results. I should stop being crazy and expecting a new outcome. I would immediately streamline the menu, re-evaluate the menu and start new. If you wanna be Bolsa or Vic Tango's (as Vijay was quoted as saying he wanted to mimic)...got a long way to go.

All in all, I would say this place is OK. Nothing special except cozy atmosphere. Good place for HH or starting a night off.

I question the integrity of Pegagsus News to allow such asinine reviews from someone with a lack of talent. I wrote better reviews with actual substance when I was in high school.

A Tex-Mex critic who "doesn't really like it all". Find a new job because your reviews lack substance.

Blue Goose has been there for a while, they're not going anywhere. I've never had a bad food experience at any Blue Goose. Not saying it's top notch but it's consistent and that's better than most. No offense but for a food critic specializing in regional Mexican cuisine and restaurants and have a "no meat" rule...almost all credibility is out the window unless you're writing for one demograph only. Vegans and vegetarians. I've been to Bandito's...it is a very cool place. Atmosphere, food, and drink wise.

A Texas DPS policy that makes no sense

that's about as retarded as paying $50 in collin county during an inspection if you vehicle is over a certain amount of miles...just because of possible harmful emissions. forget that the truck is 2005 with 57K miles at most at said time of inspection.

go up north to grayson county and save $50.

Fry Street lot in Denton remains untouched by developer

I love the fact that United Equities was so adamant to tear down an entire block of popular businesses for a CVS and Starbucks. So it's been over 2 years now and what do they have to show for it? Nothing. Thanks once again to the greedy business men tearing down history and established businesses that were frequented by everyone. It's a shame.
