Severe storms, not West Nile spraying, killed hundreds of fish in Highland Park

I have lived near turtle creek for years, and have seen many, many flash floods, far worse then the last. Not ever has there been this type of fish death. It's truly preposterous to attribute it to the floods. It's also quite interesting to note that the chemical found in the spraying is quite toxic and lethal to fish. Allow common sense to grace us and cease this fear based way of dealing with mosquitoes that could or could not have West Nile. We as a city could spend a fraction of the money to purchase 10 million bats, which 1 bat eats up to 2,000 mosquitoes PER NIGHT. Installation of bat boxes are very easy. It's time to leave the antiquated fear-based mentality in the 1950s...toxic chemicals are dangerous to all life.
