I've been there twice since it opened and loved it! I think it does a better job than Wholefoods of serving a larger slice of the community.
I'm hoping one will open in Oak Cliff.

I love Sprouts and wish they would open in East Dallas or Oak Cliff!

I sometimes shop at the Sprouts at Forest & Marsh even though I live in East Dallas. I love it. They'd be great in East Dallas or Oak Cliff.

Ed, I'm not sure whether I agree with you or not. Paragraph breaks would help.
No offense intended.

I watched all the videos a few days ago. So glad that they put them up because I couldn't make this community meeting when it was first held.
I understand that community activists would prefer that developers stick to the zoning plan for Henderson that was hammered out some years ago, but with their track record it is really hard for me to see the Andres Brothers as bad guys. I don't know that you could find developers that care about that neighborhood more than them.
One question though. Is the plan that the Andres Brothers have submitted the only plan that could make financial sense for them? Is there any room for compromise? Perhaps increasing the maximum residential density to somewhere between the 30 units per acre currently allowed and the 85 units per acre that the Andres Brothers propose.
I would like to think that those opposing this development are wary because they know how multi-family zoning has negatively affected East Dallas in the past and they want to be careful. I hope their opposition in not just neighborhood politics that will end up hurting the community. There are much worse things that are currently permissible that could end up on that lot.

I just asked my boss (who moved here recently from NYC) about grinders and he gave me a puzzled look.
He was familiar with the terms sub, hero, hoagie and wedge but not grinder.
According to wikipedia the term grinder is used in the Midwest, New England, Fairfield County, Connecticut. Riverside, CA. Also, a hot hoagie may be referred to as a Grinder in Eastern Pennsylvania.
Weird. Anyway, I look forward to trying Oak Cliff Pizza & Pasta.
