Finally checked out the Barcadia. Loved the atmosphere, it has a nice big porch and GIANT Jenga for patrons to play, plus of course all the arcade games. The waitstaff was also pretty on top of their game for a busy Friday night. There was free valet until 8 too, so that was pleasant. The food, meh. The menu offers interesting and different options than your regular burgers and fries, and it serves the purpose of soaking up alcohol. Other than that it's nothing to write home about. They do have a change machine for the arcade games in case you forget to bring quarters (like I did). This is a great place for Happy Hour or post dinner drinks.

The food was good. I had the two color soup and was pretty surprised that the two colors didn't turn brown and unappetizing after they mixed together in the bottom of the bowl. My boyfriend had some sausage and penne situation. "The sausage tastes good," I believe was his opinion.

The decor was annoyingly "posh" which is fine for the concept I guess, although the whole concept of the place seemed a bit unfocused. But gosh the music was horrible! We felt like we were on a cruise for senior citizens. I'm surprised Michael Bolton wasn't on the play list. We kind of couldn't wait to get out of there.
