Speaking as a "Yankee" that lives here...I disagree. It was the media that did all the complaining not the people that were attending the functions in the area. National media complained and now our local media is continuing with all the negative! I work downtown Ft Worth and I honestly did not hear one single negative comment. Everyone was excited about what there was going on in the area. Ya, the weather, but who can control that anywhere? Ya, the seating problem, but that was one incident although HUGE and did not reflect on all the activities the various cities involved had going on. Lay off the negativity and lay off the Yankees! If we had sand trucks borrowed from other cities what would have happened if they needed them urgently/first? You can't be ready for every situation that "might" take place.

I spoke to some reps for the Steelers on the cold snowy Friday right before the Super Bowl and they were happy and good with all that was going on in Ft Worth.

The jokes and whatever probably have happened after every Super Bowl. We just didn't care before.

Lay off the negativity and lay off the Yankee comments.
