Why Red Monroe? The next year could hold a new record for them (The Governor's Ball.) However, little non-Dallas attention is brewing for this band. Not to say it won't happen. I just wouldn't expect more for Red Monroe than any in this list.
Also, this list could/should include Explosions in The Sky and Centro-matic. Both have new records this year and national tours. All in all it'll be a strong year for Texas.

What about Austin's The Black Angels?
Their EP is an amazing taste of their live show and the future which their 2006 full-lenght might entail.
