I love the food but the drink specials on here are wrong. in fact not even close

I agree with all the above... but first lets to the easy things.

1. Walking tour or self guided audio tour of Fair Park -part history, architecture, and art
2. audio tour of Texas Hall of State with particular attention paid to the Texas history behind the art and architecture of the building.
3. While the Texas Music Center is trying to raise funds to build a building house them in an empty Fair Park Building
4. Put summer tennis courts back in the Automobile building
5. Create an indoor kidz zone in one of the big buildings like a mini amusement park for little kids 12 and under

Not sure where to begin with this... It is in the best interest of society for any couple to enter into stable long term relationships -- many benefits other then children -- better mental health, able to live to an older age without assistance, more disposable income, etc.

"Gay marriages contribute to a death culture. They cannot biologically reproduce." --- Considering only 5-7% of the population is gay the fact that they don't reproduce seems to contribute little toward any kind of death culture.

"The only way they can reproduce is to take a child away from its biological mother and father." --- Get this 20,000 children age out of our government adoption system every year because they can't find anyone to adopt them. Straight couples want their own children not someone else.

"They can't give a child a father and a mother." -- True but as someone that was adopted -- and research shows all kids really want is love and care little about the sex of their parent or how many parents they have.

"Our laws have never rewarded such an odd relationship, and we should not start doing so." -- Just because something has never been done before is not a good reason for not considering it in the future. This is the same mentality that kept slavery around and people thinking that the sun revolved around the earth.

I feel putting the hotel on the south side would trap guests between two barriers to walking the convention center and I-30.

Built on the downtown side it would help bridge the gap between the Main Street Core and JFK/West End. Our downtown destinations are far flung as it is we need to concentrate on creating realistic linkages.

From what i understand our gay area is actually quite a tourist draw. Few cities have anything like it. For most cities the clubs are scattered all around the metro area so the only gay themed business that can make it are Bars. The other businesses down in the gay area can only survive because of all the gay foot traffic created by the concentration of gay themed businesses in one small area. In addition when you have single location bars separated by distance from one another you end up having to pick one and stay their... when they are grouped together you can bar hop.

I live just down the road from the Myerson but go to Bass Hall most of the time... I am not a hard core classical music person i prefer this kind of stuff. I wish Dallas would do more of this kind of thing... though not John Tesh... More Pink Martini please.

According to the story i saw they are only looking to reduce their cost by 250,000 dollars. Why not get corporate sponsor and add a few context sensitive signs along the road in exchange for the support.

how are we going to maintain huge trinity park if we can't afford 250,000 to keep our front door looking good.

Not a bad idea... gives the area a little life and still be able to build a multi use complex when the time is right.
