Collin County DA requests special paid time-off program

Mr. Law, or Harry (author to this blog article) be truthful, and omit the propoganda slants politically motivated or otherwise from what seem to spend a lot of your free time doing. Let's be truthful in the world, and focus less on taking down others simply for our own self interests. It is a fact, this is the very BS that is ruining our great country, its reputation, our culture and the children's future. STOP it! Beware ye Lawyers.

Collin County DA requests special paid time-off program

This article, I feel after watching the hearing, is completely taken out of context. The DAs staff is simply looking for approval to add an accounting code to the computer system that allows them to allocate to and track, whenever one of their staff receivees an incentive award of one or two hours paid time off for going above and beyond in their respective jobs. Since there is no other program or policy in place to provide an exemplary employee with an imediate reward for having done something they want to be recognized as above and beyond, they have enlisted paid time off (small reward if you ask me). I'm sure many if not all have done the same for decades. The DA is simply nasking the court for formal approval to add a code to the peoplesoft system so they can accurately account for this time. Whereas in the past all others simply coded incentivized paid time off to a generic catchall code, which when the new system was put in place, is no longer in place. When they compiled the list of specific codes to be used in the new system, they overlooked incentive/reward paid time off. All corporations have such a policy and/or code, and often as prizes at holidays and such, employee names may be drawn to win prizes and one such prize is often extra vacation or paid time off. This is silly to ensenuate the DA is trying to instill his own paid time off program. Ludicris. Just authorize a code be added to the system. From operations of the DAs department, this is a good thing, and declining them the ability to reward their staff who is known for doing an exemplary job on behalf of our citizens and their children, is a death sentance to the departments moral, and their good work. This is a classic case of beaurocracy BS putting cogs in a system otherwise working and doing a very good job. The commissioner appears out of line with his disagreement and one simply must ask if his opinion is politically motivated as it seems off the wall with respect to what the DAs office asked him to bring to the commissioners court for approval. The other two commissioners didn't seem to have a problem with the DAs request, and rightfully so.
