I've been a resident of Deep Ellum for 4 years and have witnessed first hand its recent decline. During this time the Deep Ellum Association has been the only voice for residents of the community. I have no particular allegiance to members of the Deep Ellum Association board. It is absolutely preposterous that the opinions and concerns of Deep Ellum residents would be shut out.
