    polyharmonic i don't think anyone is against the new venue here. yeah we know DIY ethics have been sweet for the last 30 years, that's a given bfd. I think Chis (like he said) is going to get flack for sure, not for his venue idea, but for accidentally saying that Denton "Just isn't a music town", that isn't "cohesive" enough for him. I think it's preposterous to blame anyone other than your self for lack "joy" being in a band. yuck. And I think that the "most talented bands in the country" are being "over looked" because they don't tour enough. Ask brave combo, midlake, bowling for soup, Fergus & Geronimo, etc.

    I'm also frustrated about this one. Actually I'm just utterly confused. I love the idea for the venue. The Demigs are a good band from what i remember, but these quotes just don't make any sense to me! it doesn't add up! this one should be thoroughly discussed in the comments. Cause i need answers!!! "10 years on the scene, playing in different bands, it's still horrible.” if it's been horrible for 10 years isn't it time to tour instead of creating more reasons to stay? it all just sounds so dreadful, I'm lost and don't understand this story at all! sorry Sarah!!!
