My sister and I took our kids to visit the new location on Wheatland and I-20 after church on Sunday, January 17, 2013. I arrived first and got in line. My sister parked and I sent my son out to get them. When they walked in the police officer would not let them pass, pointed at a INCOMPLETE PARTIES WILL NO BE SEATED sign and told them to go the end of the line. I said that's my 8 year old and he just passed you. The Officer said if he has to be in line with you, you need to go to the back. The people behind us said it was ok. My sister said she's not seated she's in line. He threatened to put her and my 9 year old niece out and they went to the back of the line. I asked the Officer why they couldn't join me in line when he had just let 15 people join their parties. The officer said I don't have to tell you but if you want to create a scene I can put you out. I said oh you don't have to and left, never to return. No apology, no free meal offer, nothing. I asked for the officers name and badge number so I could report him to the DPD and the manager claimed he didn't know. I don't spend my money where I'm not respected. You don't reward bad behavior. The worst thing is I have taught my son that Police are heroes. Now he has been traumatized to see his hero is a bully.
