I've been to the Twisted downtown more than a couple times. I was happy to see the Richardson spot because it's closer to our office.

Unfortunately, the new location is off to a rough start. The person at the til seemed a bit inexperienced. They got my order wrong, partly from the noise, I guess. The food was only OK-- there's a sign on the door that they're hiring cooks now. The vibe was definitely off from the downtown location-- it feels too modern, definitely more polished than the downtown location, so that their brand doesn't fit their decor in Richardson.

Still a bit pricey, so that overall, the Richardson location, as it stands, won't be a regular for me. Maybe I'll try again in a month or so.

Outstanding staff, really helpful in my ignorance. Very good food, quite reasonable prices. If you haven't had Korean, this would be a good first place. It's apparently not totally authentic, but it's certainly good.

Jason's too polite to point out that the run is at Cox.

I prefer the pizookie to the pizza, and yeah, there are a couple of good beers. :)

The salad before was unusual, but really good-- a crisp variety of lettuce and cabbage with dressing something like vinaigrette, but with a real kick.

My red beans and rice was pretty good, but not great. A bit expensive.

Bread pudding was the high point-- I thought it was quite good; my lunch partner said "almost as good as Fishmonger's, which is his favorite.

I thought the atmosphere was pretty good and the service quite good.
