Honestly, have you traveled the subterranean walkways. They are terrible. I know of only three buildings (Republic Tower, Renaissance Tower, BoA Tower) that have any decent tenants (eateries/stores). Everything that is worth it in Downtown is either not connected or is street level accessible.
It is just easier to hop a DART train to explore areas beyond Downtown. Target @ CityPlace, CentralMarket @ Lover's and soon there will be WholeFoods @ Park

The bread pudding is AWESOME with a capital "A"!
It was KXAS-NBC5 back in 2002-3 who featured this restaurant on the 'Freedom Fries' boycott the French. I was intrigued so I trekked from Collin County to Haltom City/Watauga to locate this place.
Now it is a 'must-do' anytime I need to take a trip to Tarrant county!
