This entire posturing by two corporate giants is just sad. As an apparently "too long" customer of Time Warner Cable, I am the one that loses. I missed the entire final round of Sunday's golf tournament as well as several programs I watch on CBS. Time Warner keeps telling their customers that you can watch CBS show on-line, by going to CBS.com. This might be accurate for some, but if your internet carrier is Time Warner as mine is, you get blocked there as well. What is really amazing is the lack of "good planning" at Time Warner by staffing the phones as in (2) seperate calls last Saturday, I spent an hour on hold both times and finally had to give up. I did reach them on Sunday morning and after speaking with a rep for 30 minutes, I was handed over to a supervisor spending another 15 minutes speaking with him before he offered me a $2.00 credit for not being able to access CBS Programming. Way to go Time Warner, way to make me feel like my business for the last 24 years has been appreciated.
