  Growing up with my Mom baking all kinds of cookies fro Christmas. We lived up North and she felt the uninsulated attic in December in Chicago would be the best place to hide the goodies. My brothers and I would always find and eat some before Christmas. Speaking of good old day syndrome, we also had a house with a "coal bin". Basically a room in the basement that was used to store coal for the winter (before natural gas was installed). Needless to say my parents thougt this was also a good hiding place for gifts. Not. We always found and checked them out before Christmas only to "act" surprised on Christmas morning. ah those were the days along with "skeeching" behind moving autos on snow-packed streets.

  Contemporary Ballet Dallas to present Breaking Through

  Good show and great bunch of performers. Never knew what "contemporary" dance etc was all about but this was very entertaining.

  They have a Holiday show coming up at SMU I might go to.....in Dec.

  We went to see Petty Theft here on 10/22/09. A great show as usual needless to say. But the Arboretum looks awesome with thousands on pumpkins lining the sidewalks etc. We will have to come back during the day.

  Gonna miss this old friend called Pegasus News...Pegasus is/was much better than all the other local news/entertainment sites.

  I hope the new site keeps me a fan....not too keen on the new name...sounds generic.

  I saw Motorhead at the Aragon Ballroom (Chicago) in the 80's. Opening I think for someone like Nazareth......Motorhead rocked.....just some good old day syndrome.

  This will be like that "Brief" or whatever it is called delivered by the DMN in North Dallas to folks who don't even pay for it. I pick it up, never read it and put in in my recycling bin daily!
