Halperin was my undergrad advisor and I took his Human Rights course...the amount of reading was overwhelming (good lord just the thought sends shivers down my back!) but it was every bit worth the pain. Spend 5 minutes with the man and you'll be a believer too. That's awesome that baby-Halperin's are being spawned at SMU.
