Hosam "Sam" Smadi pleads "not guilty" in Fountain Place bombing attempt
Wow! So...tet...Purchase any explosives lately?
~You think "It is funny" to see people's reaction to death?
~You believe that all of us would blow something up if we had the chance?
~You feel that you and others are being held hostage?
~You believe we all are responsible and should be punished for the war?
Are you on an FBI watch list?

And it's so easy to Monday morning Quarterback the trained professionals who's education and job descriptions actually include protecting the lives and property of American citizens.
Forgive me for deferring to their judgment in matters of national security over those without said training.

4,060 year sentence in child sex abuse case upheld
I am not a doctor but I can read, therefore I am qualified to make that statement. The recidivism rates for child molesters is entirely too high. And please spare me your warped definition of "child."

Dallas Divas & Daughters tell us it can be fashionable to have a job
I wonder how many of those hits are coming from the motley crew they scraped together to be on the show.
Dear The Rest of America: There are so many truly amazing people in Dallas. None of them are on this show. Please withhold your judgment. Thank you.

So tet, you would prefer that these misguided, angry people with low self esteem get taken advantage of by extremists with lethal intentions rather than our government? We should just sit and wait for for lives to be lost as opposed to the proactive approach? The one that actually prevents the death of untold numbers of innocent people?

There needs to be more of this type of sentencing for this type of crime. Personally, I would be all for upping the anti to a death penalty option. There is just no rehabilitating these people and I am furious that my tax dollars feed and shelter them.
Does anyone know how he came into contact with the victims? I wasn't able to find any source that mentioned his connection to the families. The charge count indicates that he had pretty extensive access to the girls. So sad and so scary!

Cedar Hill's "Hell House" featured on documentary and NPR's This American Life
Oh yes...Hell House. I still remember the feeling that came over me when my teen-aged daughter wanted to go to Hell House. Fear, but not the sort they intended to inspire.
That was a long conversation. In the end, it turned out to be a valuable experience for her in manipulation techniques.

Winspear Opera House in Dallas opens season with smashing sold out Otello
Cindy – I felt the same way before I had the opportunity to attend Turandot at Bass Performance Hall several years ago. I thought it would be really lame but it was an amazing experience. If you get the chance you should go. The experience itself is beyond words. Getting dressed up in gorgeous gowns and tuxes and being surrounded by beauty in a dramatic venue. Even if you wouldn’t normally enjoy listening to opera, the intensity and passion of seeing it live is both aurally and visually stunning. You will never be the same!

Competing with the red facade seems inappropriate. Something complementary to the red would be in better taste I think.

Any chance of a few of the comment counts getting "lost" in the shuffle? This could be an excellent opportunity to dethrone the Doyle from his #2 spot! Mwwaahaha!

Yay! I hope this means all my incessant whining will finally pay off!
I am pretty alright with the new name, although it is considerably less unique. As far as domain names go – the more generic the better. It really sucks to find that you have named yourself into a limited corner as a site develops. Smart move for the long run, imo. I shudder to think of how many variation you had to go through to get that name.
When does the new site go live?
