Concert review: Arcade Fire at Gexa Energy Pavilion in Dallas (April 30)
They were absolutely brilliant, but they may be one of those bands you have to see to really get. That said, still the best show I've seen since.....I'll have to get back to you on that.

Concert preview: Metric at Palladium Ballroom on Wednesday
Really fun show. First time I'd been at Gilley's, but it wasn't really Gilley's tonight as they made us sneak around between the buses through the back door to get in. Probably a good safety precaution as there was at least one Canadian in the building.

Concert review: U2 at Cowboys Stadium (October 12)
The last great rock band. They don't make them like this anymore. Good lord, why so many haters? If you were sitting in the 400 sections you have reason to bitch from what I understand--next time hopefully the Cotton Bowl or even better maybe the AAC. Down low it was fabulous. PS. Gotta see Muse again!

Not-so-subtle changes to Dallas-Fort Worth radio station
Dallas/Ft Worth area radio continues to underwhelm. I'll split my terrestrial radio time between the Ticket and KTCU, but the bulk of my listening will continue to be via XM or my trusty iPOD.

Nearly 10,000 people jam Rockwall's Harbor for free concert, celebrating school’s end
Meanwhile some great original bands in DFW played to empty rooms last night. Silly.
