Glad to see Mr. Huckle knows the difference between "complementary" and "complimentary." The Williamson-Dickie release uses the incorrect choice four paragraphs later.

The only thing that is worse than the "lethal combination of press releases and lazy journalists" is a company that would hire a media relations staffer who has never heard of Wikipedia.

That's if you exclude someone who would call a person concerned about the environment a "greentard."

From thebahamasguide.com:

"A typical Bahamian meal consists of crab and rice, delicious steamed fish, served with baked macaroni and cheese and a good helping of potato salad. This is followed by desserts such as coconut or pineapple tart, bread pudding or guava duff, a delicious dessert that is made through a laborious process of folding the fruit into the dough and boiling and is served with a sauce. This meal is topped off with a large glass of ice cold "switcha" (lemon, sugar and water mixture) or beer. Such a typical meal also explains why their are so many Bahama Mama's and why heart disease and diabetes is so rampant in the Bahamas."

In my view, a "believer" has a right to buy into anything he or she wishes to buy into (provided it doesn't violate others' rights to their beliefs).

I don't see how an individual's faith in anything impedes human progress. I do see that an individual, an institution or a government that tries to impose or impede beliefs can do irreparable harm.

Friday Night Films with AFI Dallas "If you build it, they will come" ... could've described Ray Nasher's vision for NorthPark and his sculpture center, or Lenier Temerlin and Michael Cain's desire to start a local AFI festival. The two team up for an all-American screening of Field of Dreams in the Dallas Arts District. Or there's always fireworks. More info
