Dallas writing tickets if you park wrong way on two-way street
Oh, I got a ticket for that very offense in 1990. cost me $45. the officer issues ticket at their own discretion. I was the only vehicle parked on July Alley on a Monday night, it was advised I pay the ticket and not fight it in court, not worth cost of losing.

A million years ago at the KISS tribute show at Trees, I remember the highlight being the appearance of a Pogues tribute band, alluding to original name Pogue Mahone, as in Kiss My Ass.

How did I know that Prof. Allan Saxe was behind this? I remember when he received a half million dollar inheritance and had trouble giving it away. Anyway, kudos to the star of the parody of the late Michael Jackson's Thriller ,"Clucker"!

I do miss Calvin, he was a gentleman and one of the people that helped give Deep Ellum character. And those massive hands. We both did an episode of Walker, Texas Ranger (not same episode). Good times. Man, we need a new hit teevee show shot full time in Dallas.

Problem - most people have no idea what is or where to find good music and rely on default mode - hit radio, American Idol, MTV and even the Internet. Pandora is great, if your taste is a wide palette but what if it is Britney Spears, Ashley Simpson, Nick Lashea and Jonas Brothers?

I miss my old blue Daihatsu - it was the easiest car to break into - my bad habit was locking the keys in the car while they were in the ignition while the car was running - the dang thing was that quiet - you could break in by the butterfly window, rather quickly.

Right at the end - the scrapbook pictures of Russel and Carl. Did see Up on Friday at North Park and finally saw Partly Cloudy - My Fair Lady KeLaine said it was the first Pixar short she cried at - nice effort by Peter Sohn, who is certainly making quite a mark at Pixar.

Movie review: Up
Saw the preview last week - Up is another Pixar classic. The 3-D effects are enjoyable and not headache inducing and most important do not get in the way of the story, they are there to merely enhance this charming tale. What's interesting about the reviews is that everyone goes on about the courtship , marriage and life sequence of Ellie and Carl but no mention of the end credits sequence of Russell and Carl, which is as amusing and touching. Was struck at preview there was no Pixar short this time -
