Rarely can you go wrong at Daddy Jack's original Greenville location. You don't eat once at Daddy Jack's. You go back. Again and again. On at least one visit, one must order the Lobster Fra Diavlo. Been one of my faves for over twelve years.

Great Tex-Mex fare, hot sizzling fajitas, scrumptious spinach quesadillas.

One of the last decent Pancho's around. Great ambiance, delicious food (my fair lady can't get enough of those cheese enchiladas and delicious pillowy sopaipilla with lotsa butter and sticky honey), attentive service (raise the flag), and easy on the pocket prices. Tip your servers here, they deserve it.

Delicious sushi at a great value. Easy menu, great specials, pleasant service, very understated surroundings. Simply walk up to counter place order and pay and they deliver to your table. Nothing could be simpler. Food is fresh. Warning - ask to hold wasabi if you have an aversion to condiment, as many dishes are prepared with a little bit of wasabi, even California Roll. Soft drinks, Japanese beer and saki to slake your thirst, too. Nice neighborhood clientele - sushi has definitely become an American staple when I see five and six year old bubbas snacking on sushimi like chicken nuggets.

Lotsa good memories here. A good place to hang with good friends or meet new acquaintances. I've always been partial to their pasta dishes, the live music has always been classy, heck, I remember when Old '97 Rhett Miller used to wait tables here. Still a great place to take a date for intimate night out.
