Dallas' own upscale, boutique bowling alley opens November 28
Well at least it's closer than going to Addison or Richardson. Hey, whatever happened to Blowlounge that was supposed to open up in the Design District?

Opening of Cedars Food Park in Dallas was a smash
You're right, it was a WIN all the way around. I've been wanting to visit Heritage Village for years. I'm so glad I went. I'll be sure to go again weather or not there is a festival.

Adding more DART rail lines fails to promote ridership
If u want more folks to ride the DART then build along the most heavily driven roads/destinations. Gee, a train going to six flags/cowboys stadium/ballpark or paralelling the tollway would be genius. I hated sitting in traffic, then paying to park, so i've only been to each venue 1x - in the 12 yrs I've lived here. I DART to work, mall, Stars & Mavs games, museum, etc. When gas was $5 we saw just how inadequate DART is. If Dallas really wants any large event to be a success, we need the rail to be planned better. It's pay/plan now or watch a traffic jam & never another super bowl.

Mugshot released of Darius Ewing, who threw lit cigarette at puppy Justice
I just read an article about some east Texas guys who burned dogs alive in a fire pit. that story didn't get any press. if you want to read it, it's been posted on the DFW Humane society FB page. I think it's horrid that anyone would hurt an animal that only wants to be your friend.
