I keep voting against Marchant's and they keep getting elected. I will be voting for Stinchfield so we can hopefully get someone to speak for us as opposed to just sitting and voting as he is told to vote.

The only thing I watch on NBC is Celebrity Apprentice. They don't have anything else in primetime that is the least bit interesting to me.

Probably because they have a lion in a small cage instead of in an appropriate habitat. And while I think elephants are glorious creatures, they don't belong in suburbia. No one is persecuting Christians here, just trying to keep that idiot pastor from getting him or his congregation killed.

It does in that private schools that do not take public money can set their own employment rules, and while they may be idiotic to the rest of us, they can fire people who get divorced for whatever reason, or who get pregnant without benefit of marriage or who smoke or who cut their hair the wrong way.

Divorced parents probably don't get hired. My cousin found out her husband was dealing drugs, divorced him and was fired by the Church of Christ school at which she was teaching because she was divorced. Guess they preferred she stay married to a drug dealer.

yankee - private school, not ISD. While I don't have a problem with an unmarried, pregnant teacher it is a private school and it has been well established that they can set employment standards. I imagine she signed something when she went to work there outlining fireable offenses.

I would rather read this than a press release. Does Dallas really, really need another steakhouse? I would drive to Nana because there was nothing between me and them like that. I probably won't drive to Ser because I'd have to pass 1/2 dozen other high end steakhouses before I got there. Chances are I'd just plan to go to one of them from the beginning.

robynflessner -- well said. This guy is into spectacles and publicity. And a 4 day old lamb? The mother, wherever she was, must have been frantic and the lamb had to be severely stressed. But hey, it's just an animal so no big deal (insert sarcasm here).

Whoever supplied the lion should lose whatever permits they are required to have to keep them, and lose the animals, too. I can't believe it is good for a 17 y/o lion to be in a cage in the sun and from that picture it doesn't look like room to move, potty or have food and water.
