Nosh Euro Bistro
An outstanding experience all around. We were greeted warmly and seated immediately, even though we arrived about 15 minutes early. Our server said he had been there for four weeks, but was very familiar with the menu and all of his suggestions were spot on, especially the Kobe meatballs appetizer and my grilled quail.
They were out of the wine he recommended so they let us have a higher priced bottle for that price. Of course that worked out well for them because we then ordered another of the same thing.
Two of us got the banana bread pudding and one the cheese tray for dessert. We all ended up nibbling off the cheese tray, which was a generous serving and very good.
The only food quibble was way overcooked broccolini, which I would have sent back had I been the one that ordered it.

The Old Warsaw
Okay how about this from a different IP address. Last time I went will be the last time. We were with another couple and had reservations. This was a mid-week so it wasn't full. We had to wait in the bar for 20 minutes past our reservation time despite a restaurant "full" of empty tables. We were then seated immediately in front of the piano, which was loud and totally precluded any conversation. We asked to move and were told there were no tables available, yet there were lots empty.
The food was okay but for the price far from outstanding. Service was rushed to the point that they tried to serve entrees before we were done with appetizers. We asked to have dessert held for a bit and he was hovering the entire time ready to toss dessert on the table at the first possible chance.
I really wondered where all these stellar reviews were all of the sudden coming from. Guess all from the same place.

It is what it is. Take your own sacks, they only carry their brands. Cereals, condiments, canned veggies are comparable to what you get anywhere. Stock up on those and buy perishables elsewhere.

Morton's, The Steakhouse
This was hands down one of the worst meals I've ever had. The Morton's Salad with Blue Cheese dressing actually had some ranch tasting stuff that may have been in the refrigerator with Blue Cheese. The steaks were served and immediately removed because "somebody jumped the gun". What does that mean?
They were then (finally) replaced with 2 identical appearing steaks. My husband's was medium rare and pretty good but not great. Mine was beyond well done (not medium rare as ordered) -- shriveled and grey. It was returned, and after a long wait, when everyone else at our table was almost done, my steak was served. Or rather, my piece of raw cow. I didn't bother, just had them box it up so I could reheat later. Even that didn't work as waving essentially raw meat doesn't yield a good result.
The crust of the key lime pie tasted burned. I don't know how you burn a crust you don't cook.
Wait staff was young, eager but clueless. But the valet guys were very nice.
