Unleashed Indoor Dog Parks in Dallas to ban pit bulls

By the way, that is $7.50 per day, not hour, with as many ins and outs as you want. Worth it for dry towels and dryers when done.

    Welcome to District 4!!!

Texas Senator John Cornyn threatens filibuster against Minnesota's Al Franken

Glad to see you all keep up with all of a story. Coleman won the intitial count, but as usual Dems always want to keep counting until their side wins, and then suddenly it's a definitive victory. How about the Dem counties in MN that now have counted mor votes than people that actually voted? Had Coleman been declated victor, you can bet all these comments would be about how Franken got screwed.

Dallas' Industrial Boulevard "vote" discounts Latinos' wishes

I seem to recall that Margaret Hunt Hill, or someone in that Hunt family, paid a lot of money to get her name on that bridge. They still need contributors for the other Calatrava bridge, and I'm sure they will name it whatever you want for your money. Any takers?

    Dallas' Tri-City Hospital to reopen

Great news for Southeast Dallas! Let's keep the improvements and investments coming. Hopefully this will lead to more investment in this great old part of town.

    Fraternal Order of Eagles

Yeah, the first time I drove down Arturo about eight years ago I thought there might be devil worshipers down there.

Now I know the place as "a little bit of country in the middle of the city".

Olympic sized pool where you can have a well made, low priced toddy while enjoying the sun, surrounded by 40-50 ft. old growth trees! No place like it in Dallas.

The people are really nice, if not a bit old fashioned. It's a bit like going to the country club with your parents. There are enough young people joining up, and around the pool during the summer, to keep it happening. But hey, if you're a smoker, or at least don't mind it, this is the last great bastion of civilization in Dallas!
