Self-important, cellphone talking, makeup applying, late for work again, obliviates need to here the message. Share the road. The ten seconds it takes to safely pass cyclists surely shouldn't make too big a dent in your existence that you feel the need put the cyclist's life at risk.
I commute to work via bicycle, by choice, 29 miles round trip. I know what I'm talking about.
P.S. I'm not a tree hugger and I have two perfectly good vehicles in my garage I could drive.
