Ms. Aguilar is being offered a significant life learning opportunity viz: Do NOT be mean while interviewing on camera nice little old men who shoot n' kill to defend life n' limb AND their stuff from thugs. This is TEXAS, bigawd!
Good riddance.
On the other hand, I will miss seeing Ms. Miller. She was a class act. I wish you well, Rebecca.
Yanno, I just thought of something...What if some corporate media yo-yo got a memo saying "Get rid of Rebecca!".... and... unsure which one...well...stranger things have happened. :(

More often than not, I was one of the fireant and mosquito bitten 10 paying customers at Hawkwood. I was usually to be found hanging out in a Rennie Pirate lass..errr....wench...outfit swilling grog and cheering the Boy-o Bilge Rats on. Their harmony is good enough to enjoy sober, even better after mugs of Guinness. Then again, most things are.
Scarborough Faire brought the Men of ARRRRGGGHHH aka The Bilge Pumps into a larger venue. My CD collection holds 4 or 5 disks of their raucous renditions of sea shanty and landlubber vs pirates songs. My iPod has few fave songs saved for listening during gym workouts. Bawdy humor, jibes at each other, superb harmony, and a genuine love and affection for the music are only a part of what makes these singers so delightful. Look down while they are singing and discover your feet are tapping in time. All things considered, I think The Bilge Pumps are definitely one of the Best of the Rennie/Celtic/Folk groups around. Their CDs are worth buying. Ditto for an iTunes splurge.

Plan on a rollickin' whizzbang kind of night when Behan is on stage. Their love of music, genuine good humor, and appreciation of the crowd are only part of what makes an evening listening to them special. From IRA songs of the Rebellion, to lilting dance tunes, to gentle ballads that tug at the heart, to songs of " The Troubles" they are a piece of the Spirit and Heart of the Gael. Echoes of the styles made famous by groups like the Chieftans,Tommy Makem, and the Irish Rovers are re-woven into contemporary renditions. Hoist up a pint of your favorite brew, hug your significant other and sing along. (They even distribute song sheets to those so inclined to join in.) It doesn't get any better than this if your heart yearns for the green hills of Ireland, lamb stew, soda bread, and Guinness.

I just link surfed "this person" and read, laughed, choked on a Dorito, and decided I might be in love. Alex Bentley, you are a hottie!
