I tried and tried to get tickets on Saturday, but no luck. I'll be representing the Mavs in a downtown Austin sports bar tonight instead. To steal from those Spurs bandwagoners, Go Mavs Go!

I know what you mean about melancholy. Maybe it's the weather -- after months of kvetching about no rain, here we get some at last, and it's bringing everybody down. [Sigh.]

Old Cindy was great. New Cindy is great. We're just lucky to have any ol' Cindy pointing out the great music and people around the state.

It's a great film ... definitely worth a trip to see it in the theatre. And assuming the date holds, it's due out on DVD mid-March.
