Food: 5/5 Vibe: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Value: 5/5 Overall: 5/5
The first time I walked into this place I thought "this is in Denton, Texas? It looks like it should be in a trendy section of Dallas or New York!" The food never disappoints. Mike Orren's comment that Prof James's comment sounds like someone affiliated with the restaurant is total garbage--the place is that good and yes, there are "foodies" in Denton TX who would know how to write a review like this and eat at a restaurant like this.
The chef has recently done some "100 mile" dinners, in which all the ingredients are from within 100 miles of the restaurant, to keep the "green" profile high. Not only were these excellent presentations of outstanding food, but they were a great example of a business with a true environmental ethos.
That aside, the food there is always excellent, the service is wonderful, and they will make accommodations for people with special diets.
This is truly a fine dining experience in a non-snobby atmosphere, and well worth the drive from Dallas or Fort Worth.
