You have alligators in your vents too??? I thought I was the only one. They seem to work their way out and into the kitchen when I'm off at work.

I went to see Dennis in Richardson for the KSKY show he had last year and I can honestly say the man was awesome. It wasnt even a comedy sketch per say, if you love Dennis you know he can just be amusing telling stories about his life. Not sure how much tickets will be but I would happily shell out some cash to catch him again.

As a resident of Addison for about 8 years I can honestly say that the Red Moon Wifi install while nice in theory has always been a major boondoggle. If you are driving down the road, the signal is very strong. If however you are in a parking lot, in a building, in a park, in a restaurant or anywhere else in Addison the signal is fleeting and weak at best. The rate for Red Moon exceeds what you pay at a local Starbucks (Dunn bros on Beltline and Marsh is free) and very likely only shows a profit at the Addison Conference Center. (I live behind the center and can usually not even find the Red Moon signals)

I have a great deal of respect for anyone who does that job. As a fire alarm contractor I have toured all those FW homeless facilities before and I think they do a great job in a very very scary situation.

I say this as someone who has a Myspace and Facebook page and my biggest question is why would anyone want facebook? All I ever get is new application requests. Someone wants me to sign up so I can find out how many people think my cherry pie is better than the other 139,000 in their friendship base.
They make it hard as heck to actually send a basic message and while the photo upload capabilities are a little better than their competition - its not enough for me to choose this as a primary website for me. I would much prefer to use myspace with its stupid dating advertising because I can shut off the applications and I can always find a place to leave a message or a comment. Am I alone here?? (Quite honestly Im on Linked in more for the possible work contacts)

Laurie Anderson Laurie Anderson is indescribably delicious. She's hitting McFarlin tonight with her new show, Homeland, and you can bet it will contain intellectual stimulation and pure unadulterated weirdness in equal measure. An album will follow the Homeland tour in 2009. More info

My thought for several years now is that if just one restaurant went out of its way to switch the little things, they would get every bit of my business.
Little things to me as a fat guy losing weight (And having turned 40 and started reading labels) are, wheat breads or whole grain, the ability to hold the sauces/condiments, the ability to get a bare chicken breast instead of breaded, and maybe if just one could hold back on the major sodium content. I have found myself instead shopping at 7-11 where I can get fruit, whole wheat sandwiches (Yes the sodium content is still too high), smart choices like triscuts or whole wheat crackers instead of chips and flavored waters or sugar free icees.
Why don't some of the restaurants get a clue. (Chick Fil-a (sp??) has a few options) Try finding ANYTHING healthy on a Sonic Menu...
