Concert review: The Black Crowes at The Palladium (October 16)
I love the new albums and wish I could have gone! The Crowes have always put on excellent shows. Thanks for the review Mike!

Why have just one standard when two are better? Arlington ISD bans Obama kid speech - but is busing 5th graders to see George W. ramble on same topic.
W overcame such hardship and poverty to become the 2nd most powerful man in the world (next to Cheney). I'd be proud of any child of Arlington who followed his example!

Randy Jackson (of ZEBRA) show at Poor David's changed to Sunday, May 10
I'm really looking forward to catching this duo again. Randy Jackson always puts on a wonderful show and when I caught Terry Brock with him a few years back in Euless, I was pretty impressed with him as well!

Concert review: Fort Worth Symphony - The Music of Led Zeppelin at Nokia Theatre Grand Prairie (March 6)
Great review - I've seen this show a couple years back at one of the 4th of July Concerts in the Garden with the FWSO and would have loved to have seen it again. Randy Jackson is going to be back in Dallas on May 9th at Poor David's Pub for an acoustic show. He plays his own compositions (from his band Zebra and his solo work) and covers by Zeppelin, Beatles, Bowie, Rush, and too many others to mention. It is an astoundingly good show which I've had the pleasure to see before!

Pegasus News Music 2008: Covering the Dallas-Fort Worth music scene is a community effort
I appreciate the kind comment you had about my Rush review. I love music and really enjoy sharing the experiences of concerts with my friends here at Pegasus. I'll try to get to a few more shows in 2009!

Concert review: The Smithereens at Glass Cactus (August 20)
Iggy, Ziggy, Hutchence and Slash/Rose along with the Smithereens - that must have been quite a show (although the acoustics at Texas Stadium have never been too great). Would have liked to have seen that one and I should've caught this show by the sounds of it!

In its 15th year, Taste Addison 2008 serves up a weekend of food and entertainment
I love Southern Harmony a lot too, but I'll have to disagree with you on Amorica: that's a wonderful album!

Concert review: The Police at American Airlines Center
The only disappointing song to me was the slowed down "Don't Stand So Close to Me" which sounded a lot like that '86 remix they had on their first greatest hits CD. I personally would've loved to have heard "Tea in the Sahara", but Synchronicity would have been too heavily stressed I guess. Otherwise, the sound and the performance was excellent from where I was sitting. They definitely got more energized on the encore songs, but I thought they did great versions of not as popular songs like "Invisible Sun" and "Walking In Your Footsteps."

Tongiht's show was cancelled due to Jerry Lee being stuck in Nashville due to inclement weather. The attendants said there would be a make-up show.

Concert Review: Imogen Heap
Imogen's album is called "Speak for Yourself" not "Think for Yourself" - a definite typo.
