Exactly what I was thinking. It's not Fair Park itself that needs the makeover. It's the neighborhood. I love Fair Park but I go very rarely because I'm too uneasy to park there and have to drive through those particular neighborhoods in the article. I started taking DART, but then with all that crap happening with DART, I decided that wasn't safe either.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a paranoid person. I will do a lot of stupid risky crap that other people wouldn't dream of doing. But when it comes to the Fair Park area, sometimes when I'm there, my hair stands on end is how nervous I am.
