Sammon Caberet: Lynne Cadena
As an adjunct to their successful Sammons Jazz program, the Center presents their Spring Cabaret Season. The concerts are in the traditional cabaret style with a singer accompanied by a pianist, and feature standard cabaret repertoire including music from the Great American Songbook, Broadway tunes, torch songs and vocal standards. Performances are held in the intimate setting of Kurth Recital Hall at the Sammons Center for the Arts to a limited audience.
The ticket price for each evening’s concert includes free parking, coffee, beer, soft drinks, champagne, wine, and tasty nibbles. Seating is general admission. After-5 attire suggested. Denise Lee

Monty Alexander
In a career spanning five decades, pianist Monty Alexander has built a reputation exploring and bridging the worlds of American jazz, popular song, and the music of his native Jamaica. In the process, he has performed and recorded with artists from every corner of the musical universe and entertainment world: Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Ray Brown, Dizzy Gillespie, Sonny Rollins, Clark Terry, Quincy Jones, Barbara Hendricks, Bill Cosby, and Bobby McFerrin, among others. Monty is a legend in the jazz world and this concert promises to be an unforgettable experience.
