Sarah Hall's review for:
Siena Pasta & Pizza
Siena is owned by the same people who run Cafe Portobello and Bruno's in Coppell. Siena is the least expensive of the three, while Bruno's is the most expensive. It's a cute little place with decent Italian food. I haven't tried the pizza, but the pasta is typical and the chicken house salad is really good. All in all, I'd say Cafe Portobello is your better (slightly more expensive) bet for a good meal, but Siena is probably great for kids.

Coal Vines
The most delicious pizza I've ever had in Dallas. I highly recommend the Caprese pizza! The interior seating and wine bar is cramped but stylish, and not nearly as crowded as the Uptown version. The outdoor patio seating offers relief, and on a nice enough night, the whole restaurant is open to the patio. The wine and food specials, listed on boards around the restaurant, are usually spectacular. My one annoyance is that the appetizers are usually too small.
Wednesday night is buy a bottle of wine & get a free pizza, and Thursday night is 1/2 price wine on select bottles.

Sarah Hall's review for:
Primo's Tex Mex Lake Ray Hubbard
I love the lakeside location and food, but I agree with Erik that the service needs to pick it up! Last time I was there, the waiter was so flustered he brought our food before we had silverware and forgot to even bring me my meal, so I had to wait another 10 minutes while the rest of my party ate. Fine, but when my meal came out missing the sauce that goes on the fish tacos I was pretty ticked!
The time before that the waiter technically did everything right, but was so impersonal and barely ever made eye contact.
I'll keep going there for the killer patio and food but grr the service annoys me!

Backyard Burgers
Better than your average fast food burger joint. Great burgers, delicious seasoned fries, and -- if I remember correctly -- fresh squeezed lemonade. Yummmm! I only wish there was one closer to my house!

Their Cherry Blossom roll is to die for! Also, green tea ice cream :)

My favorite part about this restaurant is the small patio area. A tree in the center of the patio is an art piece itself, with twisted roots and beautiful flowers that bloom for only a short time during the spring. The view overlooks a church and an open grassy area where I once watched a play (all in Spanish mind you) while I sipped on the tasty fresh-squeezed lemonade of the day. The food is delicious and inventive, and always displayed in a way that you almost don't want to eat it because it's too darn pretty.

Young Bill's justification for bought grapes doesn't make sense to me.
I haven't considered the prestige issue of bought vs. grown grapes
