(And no, I don't know why this got me all silly with alliteration.)

Good lol though, thanks Miko.

As someone who can't stand reality shows, I read this whole damn thing solely b/c of it. I severely doubt they'll get this inked, tbh - I'd like to think other young professionals share my distaste for reality TV. =p

High cost of living is self-inflicted in an attempt to keep pace with the HP Joneses. Labeling yourselves as a "bubble" says plenty. Not sure why anybody would feel this article is necessary.

Pretty sure I'd be incredibly offended by these articles and the hubbub if I were black (one of the few times I actually endorse playing the race card).

She dressed up as a rapper. Who is black. Unless you're incredibly racist, why do you care?

This dude said it well:

Now why the Cowboys are upset about this is unreal to me. I mean, it was a Halloween party, the outfit wasn’t racist, and she was on her own time. Sure, she probably needs to make sure that cameras are not following her 24 hours a day, but at the same time, what the heck did she do wrong?

Is prop 11 designed solely to combat future Jerry Worlds? I'm wondering what "unintended consequences" the naysayers are worried we're locking ourselves into...

If they don't have anything in particular, simply saying "it'll be tougher to manipulate things if we do this" is a pretty shoddy argument against a constitutional amendment considering that's how all of them should be considered from the get.

Implying you aren't a soft serve machine?

I don't mind the new name, just pointing out how generic it is - seems to be moving away from the down home touch a lot of people enjoy, methinks.

As someone who stands very little to gain or lose with the shift, gotta say I'll miss Pegasus News.

Granted, only reason it made sense to me is b/c when I was little my grandmother told me the flying red horse used to the highest point in Dallas and you could see it for miles. Would it sway things if I told you she's dying and would be heartbroken if you changed before her end of days?

A few retorts:

  • If you can't spell "pegasus" I'd rather you not be here to begin with.

  • Surely this will step on toes, but WiredLocal sounds like something an entry level marketing "whiz" coughed up while hungover and late for a meeting. Just being honest.

  • My life has gotten much busier since I first joined PN and I don't frequent nearly as much. Wonder how much stock was put into whether current users might bounce if the revamp isn't to our liking?

Not that I'd ever quit you, Miko. <3 Hopefully the new digs won't take much getting used to - sincerely hope it goes off without a hitch!

Thought I remembered reading about how they were basically going to start manipulating stats by the manner in which police handle reports. Did a quick search but quickly gave up...fairly sure this is simply b/c of presentation of data, I don't feel any safer anyways.
