    The Polyphonic Spree

FYI - I'm pretty sure this show is the following night, Sat, 12/22...

LaGrange in Deep Ellum is closing -- really this time

Do you know if Rock n Roll Taco will remain open in the connecting room?

Concert-goers in Dallas should shut up and listen

Amen! It drives me crazy that people (especially in Dallas) pay to attend a concert only to talk over the music the entire time. The Dallas Chris Chris crowd was in full effect at the DMB show on Saturday. $100 per ticket to make beer run after beer run and talk over the quieter songs while waiting for the hits to be played...just don't get it... The epitome of the oblividiot - they're idiots who sadly are oblivious to their distracting ways.

John Dufilho releases solo record filled with big-name artists, many from Texas

Thanks Sarah. I was thinking it was a different show from the Sarah Jaffe one. But now that I look I see it's clear as day that the 2nd name on the bill is John Singer Sergeant so that's a duh moment on my behalf. Glad I have tickets to the show; that would be great if Will Johnson and others join Sarah that night! Thanks again.

Are there any details (dates, venues?) of the two shows supporting the new album? Thanks!

New Release Tuesday: Iron and Wine, Wanda Jackson, and Joe Nichols

I'm picking the Steelers to come into Cowboys Stadium and win the SB as they'll continue to distance from Dallas as the greatest NFL franchise since their owner knows how to run a winning franchise (and not just a profitable one). As for the new releases, I'd enjoy Iron & Wine or Wanda Jackson, but if only one then I'd love to hear the new Wanda Jackson album before going to see her at the Kessler. Thanks!
