Cas Haley advances on America's Got Talent

OK, I have to admit I'm a little biased as Cas is a friend of mine BUT, this couldn't happen to a better guy. He's one of the most talented and humble people to know. Win or lose Cas is a winner!

    Knock...Knock...Club Dada?

God I hope its someone with DEEP pockets to weather the storm cuz I'm afraid Deep Ellum will have to hit rock bottom before it can re-invent itself. Last year I attended a meeting on the patio at DaDa's to talk about how to "save Deep Ellum and DaDa" and one of the several, several suggestions was to better utilize that very patio we were sitting in. Coleen and Steven were at the meeting and shook their heads in agreement but (go figure) nothing much came of it. There are probably a million ways to lose money owning a bar and what might seem like common sense to someone on the outside might actually be insane but, if there are new owners, I just hope they have experience in running a club and the resouceses to make it through the lean times that I'm afraid are about to come

    Ed Burleson

If you want to get "All Bucked Up" Love and War (Plano) is the place to be. Kick back with a schiner or seven and sing along to "Dead Skunk in the Middle of the Road". Ed Burleson rocks! 5$ cover
